Our Approach

Our approach is to provide cost-effective practical HR support based on commercial criteria. We do not want to burden you with policies or procedures that you do not need or cannot sustain or are inappropriate for your size of Company.

We know all companies have tight budgets and stretching profit targets and our aim is to add value and provide cost effective solutions. Our aim is to convince you that good employment practice delivers business advantage and that prevention is better than cure.

Based on many years experience in HR in profit and service driven companies we will advise on the best solution. This will invariably mean difficult or unpopular decisions and we can help you with these.

If it is best for you we will recommend that you take advice elsewhere e.g. solicitors, accountants or employment agencies. We have links with regional law firms and employment agencies and we can recommend to you. Alternatively we can help you with arranging "beauty parades" where you want to go through a structured selection process. If you want insurance against tribunal claims, again, we will be able to suggest options.

Where you can get advice free from government agencies e.g. from Business Link or ACAS or access to free web sites we will tell you. How we aim to add value is by helping you not selling to you.

In many cases our suggested approach will be to coach or train your own managers to own your employment/people issues whilst at the same time offering HR management support on tap and as needed on a low cost basis.
